Petr Čech’s Academy as a Christmas present

The 17^th edition of the Livesport Petr Čech Football Academy already knows its date next year. This time, one of the most popular camps for young athletes will take place from July 2 to 8, 2022, and will again head to the Sports Centre in Nymburk. The Christmas pre-registration starts on December 1 and is going on until December 20. You can find out the exact start time of the pre-registration on the Academy’s Facebook profile.

The week-long camp for children from 7 to 15 years will take place in Sports Centre in Nymburk, which regularly hosts national teams of various sports. Everything is available in one place, so children can focus on the program itself, fun with friends and interesting guests from the field of the most successful athletes.

Although Petr Čech has not been able to arrive directly at the site in the last two years, he and the organizers hope that in July 2022 he will no longer be missing within the camp.

“Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I was unable to attend the Football Academy for two years in a row, but I hope that this time it will finally happen. If the current measures are in favour, visiting children will be one of the traditional highlights of my summer,” says Petr Čech and adds: “Meeting children at my Football Academy always absolutely energizes me. I have missed this opportunity a lot in the last two years. That is also why I would like to meet in the spring in the Czech Republic the children who have participated in the Academy in the last two years and with whom I couldn’t greet myself in person. My wish is for us to enjoy a joint training or live discussion.”

“We are glad that despite the unfavourable conditions caused by the pandemic, we are still able to make the camps happen and we will do our best to welcome the children in Nymburk in July 2022,” says Lenka Němcová, the head of the organizing team. “We really appreciate the interest of the children and the support of their parents in this difficult time. In return, we try not only to keep a high bar, but to move it a little higher every year,” concludes Němcová.
